Maximum stock removal for rough grinding and intensive use

The LIMABEX flap disc Z36 from the PRO Series, made of high-quality zirconia alumina, was developed for particularly intensive grinding work with high material removal. It is ideal for rough applications on metal, steel, and stainless steel, as well as for the first grinding step in demanding projects.

The self-sharpening zirconia alumina grit enables consistently high stock removal even with higher contact pressure. This ensures that the grinding effect remains even and efficient – even in heavy-duty applications.

The stable lamella structure ensures uniform contact with the surface and supports controlled guidance, especially when removing welds, scale, or coatings.

The flap disc is tested according to EN 13743. Production takes place under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system.

  P36 and P40 are suitable for coarse grinding with high material removal. P60 is often used as an all-round grit, while P80 and P120 are suitable for finer grinding and surface preparation.
2. Are the flap discs suitable for stainless steel?
  
  The aluminum oxide flap discs can be used for occasional grinding work on stainless steel. For more intensive applications or longer service life on stainless steel, we recommend zirconium corundum flap discs from the LIMABEX PRO Series.
3. Can I use the flap discs for aluminum?
  
  Yes, the flap discs are suitable for grinding aluminum. For soft metals, work with moderate pressure to prevent clogging of the flaps.
4. Do the flap discs fit all angle grinders?
  The flap discs are suitable for all common angle grinders with a diameter of 125 mm and a bore of 22.23 mm.
