Fine sanding and clean surface finish for precise applications

The LIMABEX P120 flap disc from the Standard Series, made of aluminum oxide, is designed for fine sanding and a consistent surface finish. It is ideal for finishing metal surfaces and preparing workpieces for painting, coating, or other refining steps.

The fine P120 grit allows for even, controlled material removal and ensures a clean, fine sanding pattern. This results in precise surfaces – ideal for applications where a consistent result is paramount.

The stable lamellar structure ensures even contact with the surface and supports controlled guidance during sanding. The flap disc is also suitable for fine sanding work on wood.

For stainless steel processing applications, we recommend zirconia alumina flap discs from the LIMABEX PRO Series.

The flap disc is tested according to EN 13743.

  P36 and P40 are suitable for rough grinding with high material removal. P60 is often used as an all-round grit, while P80 and P120 are suitable for finer grinding and surface preparation.
2. Are the flap discs suitable for stainless steel?
  
  The aluminum oxide flap discs can be used for occasional grinding work on stainless steel. For more intensive applications or longer service life on stainless steel, we recommend zirconium corundum flap discs from the LIMABEX PRO Series.
3. Can I use the flap discs for aluminum?
  
  Yes, the flap discs are suitable for grinding aluminum. When working with soft metals, moderate contact pressure should be used to prevent the flaps from clogging.
4. Do the flap discs fit all angle grinders?
  The flap discs are suitable for all common angle grinders with a 125 mm diameter and a 22.23 mm arbor.
