The LIMABEX P40 flap disc from the Standard Series, made of aluminum oxide, offers a balanced combination of material removal and control. It is ideally suited for processing weld seams, deburring edges, and for general grinding work on metal surfaces.

The P40 grit enables efficient, controlled removal and ensures a uniform grinding pattern. This makes this flap disc particularly suitable for coarser grinding work as well as for preparation for finer grinding stages.

The high-quality workmanship ensures consistent performance and reliable results in daily use.

The stable construction supports even contact with the surface and allows for controlled guidance during grinding. The flap disc is also suitable for coarser grinding work on wood.

For stainless steel processing applications, zirconia alumina flap discs from the LIMABEX PRO Series are recommended.

  P36 and P40 are suitable for coarse grinding with high material removal. P60 is often used as an all-round grit, while P80 and P120 are suitable for finer grinding and surface preparation.
2. Are the flap discs suitable for stainless steel?
  
  The aluminum oxide flap discs can be used for occasional grinding work on stainless steel. For more intensive applications or longer service life on stainless steel, we recommend zirconium alumina flap discs from the LIMABEX PRO Series.
